Gender, death, fancy, HIV, connections, and internet dating over 40: the playwright and star Steven Gallagher and I spoke, occasionally loudly, about these matters over multiple rounds of cocktails one previous evening in Toronto.
This Sunday day, Gallagher, 49, brings his award-winning one-person gamble, Stealing Sam, to brand new York’s joined Solo Theater Festival on theatre Row after a much-garlanded history in Canada, where it gotten better of edge and Patron’s Pick at the Toronto perimeter Festival in 2013, and got given Outstanding New Gamble, manufacturing, star, and Director from today magazine.
